Lucy Cufflin has never been put off by being the first, especially when it comes to food. Her mother was the first foodie she knew and she has been working in food since she was a teen. She is a cookbook author herself, and knows the power of a proper recipe. It was of supreme importance to her, when the idea of the first festival to celebrate both food and books (cookbooks) was that it was in aid of charity.
